Last Thursday we set off for Hua Hin, a small coastal town on the gulf. 

On our way we stopped to visit King Rama X's summer cottage. There were lots of really cute MONKEYS....

The PALACE was a beautiful mix of European, Chinese, and Khmer architecture....

 

We spent the rest of the day getting settled in and lounging by the hotel pool. 


Thursday night we went to the Hua Hin NIGHT MARKET...

There was lots of YUMMY FOOD!!....

And not so yummy food....

There were also lots of fun colorful things to buy....

Friday we went to the MONKEY TEMPLE and fed the Monkeys...

Then we went and RODE ELEPHANTS...

Through the JUNGLE...

And rode horses (ponies) on the beach...

Who could resist a ride on the BANANA BOAT?....

Saturday we chilled on the beach. 

And Rode a BICYCLE built for FOUR

And TRIED to take jumping pictures

 Sunday....Sunday, we came home.
